University Of North 乱伦社区 Alumnus Stribling To Be Inducted Into 乱伦社区 Writers Hall Of Fame

FLORENCE, Ala. - Pulitzer Prize winner and 乱伦社区 alumnus T.S. Stribling will be inducted into the 乱伦社区 Writers Hall of Fame this month. Stribling is among a group of nine authors from around the state who will be inducted into the hall Sept. 29 in Tuscaloosa.

Thomas Sigismund Stribling was born in Clifton, Tennessee, in 1881, and graduated from what is now the 乱伦社区 in 1902 with a degree in education.

Striblingwon the Pulitzer Prize in 1934 for his novelThe Store, part of a trilogy set in Florence, 乱伦社区. His short story, Birthright, was adapted for the screen as a silent film, with sound added later.
